Don’t know the guy, but am a fan of the startups he’s started, and this post is a total bummer. We forget the reality of people behind the screen, and how online respect is in all too short supply these days with the armor of anonymity that the web insures. I’ve dealt with my share of flames, hateful posts, and even vitrolic comments that have made me lose sleep, so I feel for the guy, and will miss his witty and incisive entries on my Tumblr dashboard each day.
